KaddaTechnologies Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Kingdom Study mobile application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.
Our Privacy Policy is also governed by Google Firebase's Privacy Policy, which can be found at: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Information We Collect
Personal Information
- Account Information: Name, email address, profile photo
- Profile Data: Bio, ministry information, interests, church affiliation
- User-Generated Content: Posts, prayers, comments, notes, and messages
- Attendance Data: Check-in/check-out times and event participation
Automatically Collected Information
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers
- Usage Data: App interactions, features used, session duration
- Technical Data: IP address, crash reports, performance analytics

We use Google Firebase services which may collect additional data as outlined in Firebase's Privacy Policy:

How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:

- Firebase/Google: As our backend infrastructure provider
- Analytics Providers: For app improvement and usage insights
- Cloud Services: For data storage and processing
- AI Providers: Google (Gemini), OpenAI, and Pinecone, only after you agree, as described in the Artificial Intelligence Services section below

Use of YouTube API Services
Kingdom Study uses YouTube API Services to provide its Sermon Library. By using these features you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). Google's handling of any data collected through these services is governed by the Google Privacy Policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
What We Access and Store From YouTube
We query the YouTube Data API for publicly available video information and store the following in our systems: video ID, title, channel name, thumbnail images, duration, publish date, view and like counts, tags, category, and description. We use this to display and organize sermons and to power in-app study features. We do not access your personal YouTube account, and we do not collect YouTube login credentials.
Non-statistical YouTube data is refreshed or deleted within 30 days in accordance with the YouTube API Services Developer Policies. You may request deletion of your Kingdom Study data at any time by contacting support@kaddatechnologies.com.
Artificial Intelligence Services
Kingdom Study offers optional AI features: AI Bible study chat, sermon question and answer, AI summaries, and personalized daily devotionals. These features send some of your information to third-party AI providers so they can generate a response.
What We Send
- The questions and messages you type into AI chats
- Your first name and profile details (bio, interests, ministry, community)
- Bible passages you select for study
- Your sermon notes when you discuss a sermon with the AI
- Short excerpts of your recent AI conversation, used for context
- Your prayer topics and profile details, when preparing your daily devotional
Who Receives It
- Google LLC (Gemini AI models): Generates chat responses, devotionals, and summaries
- OpenAI: Powers certain responses and structured summaries
- Pinecone: A search database that stores sermon content so AI answers can reference real sermons. It also stores the messages you send in AI chats (the text of each message, up to 1,000 characters) and your profile details (bio, interests, ministry, and church), so the AI can remember your earlier conversations and personalize its answers. This data is removed when you delete your account.
How It Is Used
Google and OpenAI process your data only to return a response to the app. Pinecone keeps the chat messages and profile details described above so the AI can find them later. We do not sell your information, and we do not permit these providers to use your data for advertising. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies:

Your Consent and Control
Nothing is shared with AI providers until you explicitly agree inside the app. You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings under AI Data Sharing. When sharing is off, AI features are disabled and the rest of the app works normally. AI and Data Use shows the consent sheet the app displays.
This Website
This website, kingdomstudy.app, uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits and taps on the App Store and Google Play badges. Vercel Web Analytics is cookieless: it does not use cookies. It counts visitors with a hash created from each incoming request, which is discarded after 24 hours, and it does not collect information that identifies you personally.

Data Portability
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format by emailing support@kaddatechnologies.com. We handle these requests by hand.
Data Retention
We retain your information:
- Active Accounts: While your account remains active
- Deleted Accounts: 30 days after account deletion
- Legal Requirements: As required by applicable law
- Backup Data: Up to 90 days in secure backups
Children's Privacy
Kingdom Study is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the one you live in, using the safeguards our service providers (such as Google Firebase) offer for those transfers.
Changes to Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes through:
- In-App Notifications: Direct notice within the app
- Email: Notice to your registered email address
- Website: Updates posted at kingdomstudy.app/privacy
Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
