AI and Data Use
Last updated:
Kingdom Study uses outside AI services to answer your questions and prepare your devotionals. We need your permission before any of your information leaves the app.
This is the same information the app shows you before you use AI features for the first time.
What gets shared
- The questions and messages you type in AI chats
- Your first name and profile details (bio, interests, ministry, community)
- Bible passages you select for study
- Your sermon notes when you discuss a sermon
- Short snippets of your recent AI conversation for context
- Your prayer topics and profile details, when preparing your daily devotional
Who receives it
- Google (Gemini AI models), which generates chat responses, daily devotionals, and summaries
- OpenAI, which powers certain responses and summaries
- Pinecone, a search database that stores sermon content so answers can cite real sermons. It also keeps your AI chat messages and profile details (bio, interests, ministry, church) so the AI can remember earlier conversations. This is removed when you delete your account.
Your choice
Nothing is sent until you agree. These providers use your data only to power these AI features; we never sell your information. We do not permit these providers to use your data for advertising. You can change your answer anytime in Settings under AI Data Sharing. If you choose Not Now, AI features stay off and the rest of the app works normally.
